Who We Are
We are Prideful, First-Generation Cambodian Americans, originally from San Francisco, CA.
Our Roots
We come from a hardworking Khmer family who came seeking refuge due to the horrific attacks of The Khmer Rouge. Our family ultimately made it to The Tenderloin District in San Francisco where we worked ever so hard to maintain the place, forever in our hearts. Our parents suffered lifelong effects of the genocide both physically and mentally but had no other choice but to keep strong and fight through all the tough battles life has brought upon us. We were taught by them to always, aim for our passions, and desires-- despite circumstances, just as they did.
Our Journey
Fast forward, we opened up a sandwich shop in Manteca, CA for 8 years then realized we wanted to start over in a community we felt needed more Khmer representation- a new place we now call home. VEGAS. This business, which has been in the works for the past year, is a tribute to the generation above us—a tribute to the triumphs we've faced and overcome. No obstacle ever defeats the strength in number, hustle, and passion. It has definitely, and still is a journey. Day by day, we continue to strive.
What We Offer
We are not considered a "restaurant" but more so a "family-style cafe." We will have many pop-up tasty Khmer Street Foods you'd typically find in Srok Khmer (Cambodia), but we will highlight more of the authenticity of Khmer and American sandwiches we specialize in. We are committed to quality, freshness, and fulfillment of our foods, entirely made from the heart. This business is a tribute to all that led us up to this point, built off of the strength passed down by our former generations.
As the mobile food carts would say in Cambodia, "ស្រស់ស្រស់ រសជាតិឈ្ងុយ…ឆ្ងាញ់!" (Fresh, Aromatic, & Delicious)... a perfect way to describe our "Nom Pang" we offer.
